1 Rough loop output (sawing machine)

• Gross exterior diameter of bar with machining allowance
• Cut to length with machining allowance

2 Turning the 1st side (NC lathe)

• Rough part to within 0.2 mm of finished dimensions
• Finishing to required dimensions

3 Turning the 2^nd side (NC lathe)

• Secondary operation in a soft jaw (concentricity control)
• Rough part to within 0.2 mm of finished dimensions
• Finishing to required dimensions

4 Milling the 1st side (machining centre)

• Centering, drilling, tapping, boring
• Rough milled part to within 0.2 mm of finished dimensions
• Milling finished to required dimensions

5 Milling the 2nd side(machining centre)

• Centering, drilling, tapping, boring
• Rough milled part to within 0.2 mm of finished dimensions
• Milling finished to required dimensions

N.B.: The 4th and 5th steps can be combined in a single step using 2 loading stations.

6 Carried out locally by sub-contractors

• Surface treatment

• Final control in accordance with the L00.015B standard.
